The Philadelphia Sexual Assault Response Center (PSARC) was established in 2011 to meet the forensic and medical needs of sexual assault victims who are 16 years of age and older. PSARC is a private, not-for-profit center whose mission is to provide expertise in the assessment and evaluation of sexual assault victims in Philadelphia. To RSVP and get additional information about this training please contactJeffSOAR@jefferson.edu.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a campaign lead by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center. This year’s theme, “Engaging New Voices” builds on the idea that we are stronger together, and that new organizations and community members are needed to expand sexual assault prevention efforts and help the next generation foster attitudes that promote healthy relationships, equality and respect.
Thomas Jefferson University has a webpage dedicated to resources surrounding sexual misconduct: www.jefferson.edu/titleix. On this webpage you will find information on reporting, help and support, and great educational resources.
